The Serenity Prayer (short version) is one of the most popular prayers out there.
It’s often used as a devotion by those going through difficult life journeys.
Personally whenever I hear it, it comforts me and brings me peace about my fertility journey.
Unfortunately, many people (including myself) aren’t familiar with the full version of the prayer.
The entire Serenity Prayer reads:
God, grant me the serenity
Reinhold Niebuhr
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
taking, as Jesus did,
this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it;
trusting that You will make all things right
if I surrender to Your will;
so that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with You forever in the next.
Amen.
(Actually, the original prayer was written slightly differently -a version that I think is worded very beautifully).

The Serenity Prayer Meaning
Serenity is the state of being calm and peaceful.
The serenity prayer is a call to receive a sense of inner composure and order even in the midst of chaos.
Many rehabilitation groups and addiction recovery groups recite it for this very reason.
Where can I find the Serenity Prayer in the Bible?
You can’t! The Serenity Prayer is not written in the bible, but there are plenty of verses that support its message. Philippians 4: 6-7 is one of these passages.
