K and I have a little house. I call it our ‘casita‘.
We love it because it feels like just enough house for 2 people. On the other hand, it is small enough that you can’t full on decorate the living area without it looking cluttered.
At least that’s the way it looks to me and I HATE the look of clutter.
Our best opportunity to inject some personality and seasonal flavor into our living room is on our beautiful fireplace mantel.
I love this thing– it is completely adorned in white brick and it’s the first thing you see when you walk in the front door. Also, it sits right underneath our two panels of skylights and at night, it makes our home so cozy.
I say all that to say that it’s the perfect styling opportunity.
I’ve had it decorated just about the same way for months now but that’s about to change because I want to style it for the fall!
I’m excited for fall this year; I’m looking forward to the fall fashion, the trips we have planned and holidays with family. So, I want to take the opportunity to celebrate the season with appropriate home decor.
I’ve rounded up some beautiful items to put together our mantel decor for fall. Here are 4 possible ways to jazz up our mantel!
OUR MANTEL DECOR FOR FALL:
4 Ways
1| Mint Green & White Pumpkin Lineup
I just ADORE fall home decor that is made up of colors other than the traditional red, orange and yellow.
Aren’t these pumpkins just the cutest?
2| Two Wreath Mantel
I think this look would look great with two identical wreaths but if you don’t, you can pull it off with two wreaths of identical size like this!
Also, it’s not fall if you don’t pull out the cozy throws. And we all know I can’t resist a tasseled throw.
3| Orange & Red Fall Color Theme
A classic fall home decor look- rich in the autumn colors!
4| Autumn Stems Mantel
If all else fails, combine a bunch of your favorite stems and give your mantel that fall foliage feel.

I love all of these ideas! If I had to choose a favorite I think it would have to be the first one. Green is my favorite color and I love pumpkins. Super cute!

Ooooh!! I love the mint green one! I need to get into decorating my home with every season! I always see cute stuff and then just dismiss it, but you’ve really inspired me to give it a try! My vote is for #1 hands down!!
