I could not be happier to be done with this makeover. I think it turned out BEAUTIFUL and it easily meets all my expectations. It was simple, cheap and gives off that bohemian + midcentury vibe I was aiming for.
Look at how far we’ve come:

BATHROOM MAKEOVER COST
As discussed, my goal was to keep this makeover small scale and low cost. I bought all of the items used through Amazon, Walmart, Target and Hobby Lobby. Paint was purchased at Sherwin Williams and one gallon was about $26 (sorry I don’t have that receipt anymore).
I have included links to purchase each item I used down below, but first I want to share the grand total of what I spent to show you how budget-friendly this makeover was (which includes $26 for paint)!
GRAND TOTAL = $242.41
AMAZING! I’ll be honest- it turned out cheaper than I expected and I am SO pleased about that!

Love it!! The shower curtain and rug are SO cute!! My bathroom is probably half the size of yours so the only thing I can ever really change in it is the shower curtain LOL
Deze says
Thank you Renee
I totally know the struggle that is a tiny bathroom! Luckily, this rug (and many others) comes in many different sizes- I’m SURE you can find one that would fit your space. The less floor space, the smaller the rug. The smaller the rug, the CHEAPER the rug lol.
Hannah says
Wow, this is beautiful! I absolutely love it. It’s amazing what plants can do to a room, I might consider adding some to my bathroom as well.
Deze says
Thank you Hannah!
I agree- plants are like the icing on the cake. They just make a room feel so alive and cozy. I’d love to know what you end up ending to yours.

Thank you Megan, I appreciate it so much!
It’s a bummer you can’t paint, but I hope you get inspired to make some other (non-permanent) upgrades! You deserve a space you love

So I definitely LOVE the end product. Even more so, the way you planned and executed. My motivation has been renewed to get back to my decor work! Thanks for the tips 😅
